Title: Community health Registered Nurse
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part Time, Day
Salary: $35.00 to $42.00 Hourly for 15 hours per week, Pension Plan Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: 2009/07/01
Location: ST-Johns, Newfoundland and Labrador (2 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Government institution
Area of Specialization: Community, Consulting, Home care, Public and community health, Rehabilitation unit
Specific Skills: Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, Provide health education, Provide supportive counselling and life skills programming, Participate in community needs assessment and program development
Additional Skills: General counselling
Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning
